The first days of pleasant weather are starting to show up closer together, and it is making it hard to focus on anything of substance. Having a full docket of work to do means that all I can do to enjoy it is wake up with the sun. That’s enough. Here are the current projects, for posterity:

1. Oak.
This comic is taking bloody forever. I’m looking at grey washes dry on pages 51/52 right now. It is an 88 page comic, that I have to figure out how to distribute or sell or something once it’s done.

2. Dual Custody.
This is an html5 game I’m making with my friend Tyler, using the Construct 2 engine, from Scirra. I’m doing all the art n music, he’s plugging it all together. I’d say we’re about 70% done. Excited to get this out there.

3. Reading!
Having a Kindle has meant my reading has shot up, which I couldn’t be happier about. Reading that Game Of Thrones thing right now.

I can perceive my future fame and achievements, or at least the next level of them. It is a floating gold crown, fixed at a constantly three feet one inch above my head. It is slightly offset to the left(my left) and it spins slightly, like it’s suspended on a twisted string. It is thin, looks like wood painted with thin acrylic paint, with the shading and highlights painted onto it.

That thing is taunting as all hell. It’s a glitched out power-up, an item that I should’ve grabbed by now except for some unexpected bug. And thanks to that inexplicable error, I’m just…waiting for it. When I’m alone I try and snatch it, but it won’t catch in my hand. The messenger of my good news and deliverance is a bugged out escort quest walking in place, stuck on a door frame. And that’s it. I’m stuck grinding on the current level, working at Grocery Store(Lv.18-28) and living in Terrible House(-3 to everything). I can still grind out exp, but pretty much everything I’m doing at this point is either way above my level(chipping away at it) or greyed out for me and hardly worth it.

A hard reset is a tricky proposition, because I’m not sure what I can do once I snap everything off. Also, I am not sure that I saved at any point, so it is entirely likely that I will have to respawn, with god knows what predetermined attributes. I don’t know that whatever is left to make decisions or handle things will be able to blow on the cartridge or boil the disc or google “CAN’T GET PASDT SHITTY JOB AT GROcery store character still aging skill increase slow bugpatch life faq tut” and hope that pulls up a forum thread that isn’t completely retarded.
